Macayo’s Superstition Springs location opened in 2020, providing diners in the East Valley with the classic Macayo’s dining experience — including delicious and authentic Mexican food served with unparalleled customer service — in a vibrant new atmosphere. This location combines the best of Macayo’s history and traditions with the future of the brand into one welcoming environment designed for a quick lunch, a celebratory gathering and anything in between. 

Born in Sinaloa, Mexico, Delia was raised in Arizona all of her life. She joined Kind Hospitality in 2017 and has worked at the company’s Mesa-Gateway and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport restaurants including Paradise Bakery and Panera Bread. Starting out as a Cashier and working her way up, she helped open The Parlor and San Tan Brewery.

While initially thinking she wanted to go to school for Criminal Justice, she ultimately fell in love with the restaurant business and decided to pursue a career in the industry. A positive and considerate person, she loves food and loves what she does. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking with her mom and watching soccer with friends and family.
