New Location Coming Soon! 
We are excited to announce we are opening a new ASU Tempe location in mid-February as the lease on our current location comes to a close. Located in the Cornerstone shopping center at 715 S. Rural Road., this location is closer to the ASU Tempe Campus, making it even easier and more convenient for students and the community as a whole to visit.

“With more convenient entry and exit points and additional guest parking, our new ASU Tempe site makes it extremely easy for students to visit from campus and guests to visit from all over town,” said Lucas Farnham, CEO of Horizon Hospitality, the family-owned restaurant group that owns Macayo’s. “We are excited to open with not only an open floorplan where you can feel the energy from door to door but also introduce an intimate patio adjacent to campus, for guests to enjoy outdoor dining.”

Victoria Dunham will serve as the General Manager of our ASU Tempe location. She first joined our team as a Server in the Summer of 2020 for the opening of our current location, was soon promoted to Management with the goal of becoming part of the Marketing team, which she accomplished in February of 2022. As we progressed toward the opening of this new location, Victoria expressed her desire to return to Operations to lead this team. Along with experience in Operations and Marketing, she brings great enthusiasm and leadership to the new location. Although she is a Grand Canyon University alumni, one of our in-state rivals, Victoria is eager to connect further with Arizona State University students and the growing Tempe community.

We have been immersed in the Tempe and Arizona State communities for many years. With our signature recipes, handcrafted margaritas and focus on guest service, we intend to remain a Tempe favorite well into the future. Our new location will serve as a cornerstone of this continued effort.
