How to Make Beef Tacos With Macayo’s

Many people would say they know how to make beef tacos – but do they know how to make Macayo’s mini beef tacos? A featured recipe around the Holidays, these mini beef tacos are perfect for gatherings of friends and family anytime of year. From football season to Sunday afternoons at home, these simple and delicious beef tacos are a Macayo’s tradition.


1 dozen mini corn tortilla taco shells

1 lb. ground beef

1/2 cup chopped yellow onion

8 oz. canned tomato sauce

1/4 tsp. chili powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 clove fresh garlic

6 oz Macayo’s Red Taco Sauce

6 oz shredded lettuce

6 oz diced tomatos


Brown ground beef and onion in 10″ skillet over medium heat. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and garlic. Cook over low heat 15 minutes and remove from heat. Fill each taco shell with 2-4 ounces of ground beef. Fill taco with shredded lettuce and top with diced tomatoes. Pour Macayo’s Taco Sauce on each taco and serve with guacamole and sour cream for dipping.
