James started his very first job was with us as a Host. From there he moved in various different roles with the restaurant before  joining the Army Reserves. Upon his  completion of his service, James returned to  working at Macayo’s — this time as a Supervisor, then as an Assistant Manager. A few years later he took on the role of General Manager. 

Opened in August 2020, Macayo’s ASU Tempe has prime location, with convenient, easy access and freeway visibility. Sitting at the intersection of Scottsdale Road and the 202 Highway, providing an ideal high-quality dining spot for college students, residents, neighbors and travelers.
