Our toasted cheese tortilla recipe is so simple to make but packed with flavor. It’s a favorite among kids and adults alike. We recommend serving with warm rice and beans.
1 13″ toasted flour tortilla
6 oz. Macayo’s Green Enchilada Sauce
6 oz. grated mixed cheese
4 oz. diced tomatoes
1 oz. sliced green onion
Toast flour tortilla in oven at 350ºF until brown and crispy. Remove tortilla from oven and place on an oven-safe plate. Spread 6 oz Macayo’s Green Enchilada Sauce on tortilla and cover with grated cheese. Place in oven at 350º until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and sprinkle tomatoes and green onion over top of the crisp. Cut into 6 equal slices and serve with Macayo’s Sonoran Salsa, guacamole and sour cream for dipping.
