Our Macayo’s Green Chile Cheese Dip Recipe will change the way you enjoy your Sunday afternoon snack. Cheesy, fresh and packed with flavor, this dip will be a favorite of all who enjoy it.
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove of minced garlic
1/2 tablespoon cumin
16 oz diced tomatoes
1 can (7 oz) Macayo’s diced green chiles
8 oz grated Jack Cheese
3 oz cream cheese, cut into small cubes
1/4 cup milk
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Add onion, garlic, cumin and sautee for 3 minutes or until onion softens. Add diced tomato and Macayo’s Diced Green Chiles and cook for another 5 minutes or until tomatoes have softened and some of the liquid has evaporated.
Remove pan from heat and stir in Jack Cheese and cream cheese, stirring until cheeses melt. Add milk until desired consistency is reached. Serve warm. Serves 10 people.
