Green chile has been popular in Mexican cuisine for many years, but only recently has this delicious, pungent chile become more mainstream. With Macayo’s Mexican Foods Diced Green Chiles, you can enjoy the tasty flavor at home with our green chili burger recipe.
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 clove of garlic, crushed
salt and pepper to taste
1 4 oz can Macayo Mexican Foods Diced Green Chiles
1/2 cup Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
4 hamburger buns
1 medium red onion, sliced
1 medium tomato, sliced
1 head lettuce of your choice
Mix beef with garlic, salt, pepper, Macayo Mexican Foods Diced Green Chiles, in a large bowl. Shape into 4 flat patties. Preheat broiler or grill. Cook burgers to desired doneness. Just before serving, sprinkle cheese on top of each bun. Toast the buns until they are lightly browned and the cheese is melted. Top each bun with a hamburger patty, onion, tomato, and lettuce as desired. Serve immediately.
