Macayo’s Own Bubba-Q’s Pork Chimichanga Recipe

The perfect mix of sweet BBQ flavor and a traditional Mexican chimichanga, our Pork Chimichanga Recipe is simple to make, with results that are packed with juicy flavor. Drizzled with tangy Baja sauce you’ll love, you and your family will enjoy this carnitas recipe for years to come.


1 13″ flour tortilla

4oz pork carnitas

3oz BBQ Chipotle Sauce

4oz Baja sauce

1/2oz Jack Cheese

1 oz pico de gallo

4oz Ranchero Beans

1 oz shredded lettuce


Place pork carnitas on grill and add chipotle BBQ sauce, sauté and evenly coat the carnitas with BBQ sauce. Spread the BBQ carnitas on the center of the tortilla. Roll the tortilla burrito style. Place in deep fryer until golden brown. With the chimi on the plate, pour Baja sauce on top, and sprinkle with Jack cheese and pico de gallo.

Place the Ranchero beans and rice on plate next to chimi. Garnish plate with shredded lettuce and pico de gallo.
