Cheaper by Degrees is back for the summer at Macayo’s Mexican Kitchen. Macayo’s takes yesterday’s high temperature off the regular price of some of their signature items. So, if the temperature is 112-degrees, Macayo’s takes $1.12 off of some signature items. [More]

January 18th, 2005  Macayo’s Sales Support Tsunami Victims with $15,000. Macayo’s Mexican Kitchen donated 15% of Tuesday, January 11th’s sales to the Tsunami victims through the International Response Fund of the American Red Cross. Many businesses and patrons throughout Arizona enjoyed lunch and dinner at Macayo’s for a great meal and to make a donation to the tsunami victims. [More]

October 1st, 2004  Macayo’s Mexican Kitchen opened its 17th Restaurant location in Surprise, Arizona with a Surprise Party for the community. Countryside Elementary School benefited $5,490 from a special fundraiser held Saturday, August 28th. The students, parents and staff of Countryside Elementary were given tickets to sell to the grand opening dinner, in which Countryside will keep 100% of the proceeds to use for their school. [More]

September 15th, 2004  Macayo’s 58 Years In Traditions of Love, Marriage and Friendships. Macayo’s has been serving Mexican food for over 58 years in Arizona, creating a lot of traditions and memories in their restaurants. Best Old-Time Tradition Winners, Richard and Marjorie, have been celebrating their tradition since 1969 when they held their wedding dinner at Macayo’s on Central Avenue in the Aztec Room. The night -was recreated 25 years later, when the couple was back to celebrate their anniversary. Macayo’s allowed them to use the same menu from their wedding night, and they got away with a $6 dinner![More]

April 4th, 2004  Macayo's Mexican Kitchen breaks ground on new store in Surprise, Arizona. Surprise, Arizona- Phoenix-based Macayo's Mexican Kitchen has broken ground on a new restaurant located at 15565 W. Bell Road. The restaurant marks the 17th location for the family-owned and operated chain. Macayo Surprise will seat approximately 250 people. The restaurant is expected to open August 2004, bringing over 100 new jobs to the area. [More]
